Crochet Coasters

Crochet Coasters

Hello! I'm Loli and today I have a very easy and fast tutorial! With basic knowledge of crochet you can do it without problem! Only four rounds and four points! We can make them in a couple of hours and they are a good idea to brighten up our table or to give as gifts.

I used cotton thread in pastel colors, but They can use whatever they want or have at home. On the ball label always says which needle number should be used for that type of yarn or they can also check where they buy the ball.

We will use the following points:
>
Chain stitch

Low stitch (slip stitch)
High stitch (double crochet in US or trebble in UK)
Low crochet (single crochet in US or double) crochet in the UK)

Start

Round 1
6 chains, join with a satin stitch forming a circle with a satin or slip stitch.
3 strings (count as the first high point or vareta) 19 high points/twists in the circle. Join with satin stitch. We have 20 points left.

Round 2
3 chains (counts as first vareta) 1 vareta at the next point, 2 chains, * 1 vareta in each of the next 2 points, 2 chains *; Repeat from * to * the entire round. Join with a flat stitch in the third string with which we started the round.

Round 3
Flat stitch until you reach the first space of 2 chains of the previous round, 3 chains (counts as the first vareta) 1 vareta, 2 chains, 2 varetas in the same space (the space of the 2 chains of the previous round) * 2 varetas, 2 chains, 2 varetas * en the next space of 2 chains of the previous round. Repeat from * to * throughout the whole round. Join with satin in the third string with which we started the round. We must keep 40 varetas.

Round 4
Point to the first space of 2 chains of the previous round, 3 chains ( count as first vareta) 6 varetas in the same space of 2 chains of the previous round, sauté the next 2 varetas, 1 low point in the space before the next 2 varetas, * 7 varetas in the next space of 2 chains, sauté 2 varetas, 1 low point in the space before the next 2 varetas *. Repeat from * to *. Join with a point in the third string with which we started the round. We should have 10 petals, each of 7 varetas, each separated by a low point.

Do you like the idea? I hope so and that they can do them! See you next Monday!
